Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Aria Finance (“Aria,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use the Aria web application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Account information — name, email address, and authentication details when you create an account, including information received from single sign-on providers (such as Apple or Google) if you sign in that way;
  • Financial profile information — information you provide during onboarding or while using the Service, such as income, expenses, assets, liabilities, financial goals, family and household details, and risk preferences;
  • Uploaded documents — files you choose to upload, such as financial statements, estate planning documents, and related records;
  • Chat and interaction history — messages, questions, and other inputs you submit to the Service's AI features;
  • Communications — information you provide when you contact us for support or feedback.

Information collected automatically:

  • Usage data — pages viewed, features used, actions taken, and timestamps;
  • Device and log data — IP address, browser type, operating system, and general device information;
  • Cookies and similar technologies — used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. The Service is not directed to minors, and if we learn we have collected personal information from someone under 18, we will delete it.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including generating AI-powered summaries, analyses, and planning tools based on the information you provide;
  • Create and manage your account and authenticate you;
  • Process and analyze documents you upload, at your direction;
  • Respond to your questions and provide support;
  • Improve the Service, including debugging, developing new features, and understanding usage patterns;
  • Protect the security and integrity of the Service, including detecting fraud and abuse;
  • Comply with legal obligations;
  • Communicate with you about the Service, including important updates to our terms or policies.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising purposes.

3. AI Processing

The Service uses artificial intelligence, including large language models provided by third-party AI service providers, to deliver its core features. When you use AI features, the information you submit — which may include your financial profile, chat messages, and the contents of uploaded documents — is transmitted to and processed by these providers in order to generate responses.

Our AI providers process this data on our behalf to provide the Service.

You should avoid submitting information you are not comfortable having processed by the Service, such as Social Security numbers, full account numbers, or passwords, unless a feature specifically requires it.

4. How We Share Information

We share personal information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers — with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting and database providers, AI model providers, authentication providers, and analytics providers. These providers are permitted to use your information only to provide services to us;
  • Legal requirements — when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others;
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal information;
  • With your consent — in any other case where you direct or agree to the sharing.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal, security, or legitimate business purposes (such as backup systems, fraud prevention, or record-keeping obligations). Uploaded documents can be deleted by you at any time within the Service.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws (such as the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act, or similar state laws), including the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correct inaccurate personal information;
  • Delete your personal information;
  • Obtain a copy of your personal information in a portable format;
  • Opt out of certain processing, such as targeted advertising (which we do not currently engage in).

You can exercise these rights by contacting us at [CONTACT EMAIL] or through your account settings where available. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will explain the outcome of the appeal.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or rely on third-party sign-in services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies. Information you provide directly to a third party — for example, to Apple or Google when using single sign-on — is governed by that party's policies.

9. Users Outside the United States

The Service is intended for users in the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or rely on third-party services, including AI model providers, authentication providers, and data infrastructure. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms and policies.
